Our REDD Project

Tete Forest Conservation and
Sustainable Livelihood Project

Building Carbon Neutral Future

Reducing carbon, enriching lives - investment rooted in forest

Forest in our project area in Tete are vital carbon sink – yet, 44,255 ha of forest were destroyed every year in 2013-2023

Our REDD Project works with local communities to protect existing forest through sustainable land use, monitoring, partnership with communities, alternative and sustainable livelihood programs.

By preventing illegal logging, traditional slash and burn agriculture, and providing sustainable income sources, we strengthen community resilience while conserving forest and biodiversity.
