Manaky Lda was established in 2014 as a consulting company, registered at Ministry of Industry and Commerce with license (alvara) of 12688/11/01/PS/2017 and 12696/11/01/PS/2017 in Mozambique.
Manaky has been developing some projects to help improve the livelihoods of Mozambican people and industrial development through creative, inclusive, efficient and professional solutions.

ORGANIZATION
Dr. Akiko Abe is a founder of Manaky Lda. She obtained a PhD on Development Study in University of London (SOAS) with over 20 years’ professional experience at bank, project management, economic and financial analysis of various projects, household surveys, forest surveys and so on. Manaky has 3 Departments of:
- Private sector development
- Agriculture, forest, and environment,
- Transport
Around 35 project-based consultants including economists, forest/environmental experts, agricultural engineers, engineers, GIS, and social safeguard experts.

Manaky has been developing a REDD+ Project in Tete Province, which aims to stop deforestation and to increase carbon stock by forest restoration and reforestation, through which alternative and more sustainable incomes are generated for communities.
